Swashbuckler On Tour
Swashbuckler On Tour is a triathlon event on 5 July 2026 at Moyles Court School, Ringwood, Hampshire. The 2026 edition moves from its usual Buckler’s Hard location because of limited high tides and venue availability.
The event includes a swim in Ellingham Waterski Lake, a bike route through the New Forest with wild ponies and horses, and a run on quiet country roads. An event village offers coffee, pizza, a mechanic, post event massage, and activities for children. Finishers receive a medal and a finishers t-shirt, and post event food is provided.
Distance and race format options include:
- Middle: 1.9km swim (2 laps), 1km transition run, 90km bike, 20km run
- Middle relay: teams of 2 to 3 people
- Standard: 1.1km swim, 1km transition run, 33km bike, 10km run
- Sprint: 400m swim, 1km transition run, 33km bike, 5km run
- Aquabike: 1900m swim, 90km bike, transition at Ellingham Lake, no transition run
- Duathlon: 5km run, 33km bike, 5km run
Road closures will affect Moyles Court and nearby access on event day, and participants are required to park at Moyles Court School before the event. Volunteers carry out roles such as car parking, registration, marshalling and water stations and receive a free entry code as a thank you.
