Race for Life Southampton - 10k event
Race for Life Southampton is a chip-timed 10k held on The Common in Southampton on Saturday 20 Jun 2026. The event is for people aged 16 and over. Entry fees listed are £17.49 and £11.00 for children; the minimum fundraising target is £50.00.
The course starts on tarmac and finishes on grass, following tree-lined paths around The Common and Cemetery Road. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k. The route includes a total ascent of 55 m with a gradual incline around 2 km and 6 km. The start line is on the main flat tarmac path through The Common and the finish line is on a grass area in sight of the start.
Venue address: The Common, The Avenue, Southampton, SO15 7NN. There is no parking at The Common; public transport is recommended. Southampton Central train station is about a 30 minute walk and St Denys station about a 25 minute walk. There are multiple pedestrian access points and drop off possibilities at entrances such as Hill Lane, Northlands Road or The Avenue. Blue badge parking is directed by a steward on Cemetery Road. There are no cycling bike racks or electric charging points listed.
