Event details
The Sunburn Solstice Trail Run takes place on June 20, 2026, at Marydale Park in Mount Hope, Ontario, Canada. The event is time-based, with a Full Solstice option of 15:23 and a Full Solstice Relay of 15:23. The course is run on an approximately 3.7 km trail loop that mixes tree-covered singletrack and open field, with a couple of short rolling hills. The exact loop may vary depending on trail conditions.
Format and rules
The relay allows teams of up to five runners. Each relay runner must complete the full loop and all exchanges must occur in the designated relay transition area. Teams may not replace a member who leaves early. Awards are given to the top team in each category - All Men, All Women, and Mixed Relay. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
Logistics, amenities and policy
There will be one aid station on course offering water, an electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, PB and J sandwiches, pickles and similar items. The event is cup-less; participants must bring a collapsible cup or bottle. Participants receive a soft-spun t-shirt (unisex or women's cut option) and a finisher's medal. Post-race meals are not included. Registration notes include sold-out status for the listed categories and a refund/transfer policy that provides a 100% race credit if cancelled more than 30 days before the event; bib transfers are allowed.
