About the race
The Santa Run Hess is an all‑Santa running event in Hess Village, Hamilton, Ontario, held on November 21, 2026, at radius on Hess, 18 Hess St S, Hamilton ON L8P 3N5, Canada. Available distances include: - 5K, in-person and virtual options - 1K, in-person only - Virtual 5K with suit option All participants are required to wear a Santa suit. Registration offers entries that include a velour Santa suit and a detachable beard, or entries without a suit for those who already have one. The event provides chipped timed results.
Medals are awarded for the 5K, including a limited‑edition Rudolph medal whose nose lights up and plays "Rudolph the Red‑Nosed Reindeer" when opened, and a Santa medal with music. The 1K has different medals. Race kit pickup occurs on days before the event at the Stoney Creek Running Room store, Mountain Locks Plaza, 1791 Stone Church Rd E Unit 4005, Stoney Creek ON, and on race day at Radius on Hess. A virtual 5K option is available; virtual participants can track their activity with the ASICS Runkeeper app and submit results via the event results page.
Everyone who posts virtual results receives a virtual finisher's certificate. If the in‑person event is cancelled, entries are switched to the virtual race and no refunds will be issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
