The Stu - Mason City, IA
The Stu is a community running event held in Mason City at the Mason City Family Aquatic Center, 933 Birch Drive. The event on May 23, 2026 features a 4 mile run and walk on paved streets and is part of the North Iowa Band Festival celebration. The course is chip timed.
Awards are given to the top three places in each age and gender division, and trophies are presented to the overall male and overall female winners. Age divisions include 8 and Under, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, 13 to 14, 15 to 16, 17 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and Over.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 23 at the Mason City Aquatic Center from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Event registration and the listed participation fee apply; registration opened January 31, 2026.
