Claydigger 5K Run/Walk and Kids 400m Dash
The event is scheduled for 06/27/2026 at 246 Garfield Street, Sheffield, IA 50475. It features a community 5K run/walk and a youth 400 meter dash. All proceeds benefit the Sheffield Betterment Foundation to support local initiatives.
Two distances are offered:
- 3.1 Miles 5K run/walk
- 400 m Kids Dash
The Kids 400 meter dash is open to children aged 5 to 12. Youth participants receive a finisher's medal. Parents may run alongside their child but they will not receive a finisher's medal.
The 5K includes awards by age group. Medals will be given to the top two male and top two female finishers in each of these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus.
Registration opens on 03/30/2026 and closes on 06/26/2026. Registration fees are listed as $25.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the Kids 400 meter dash. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
