About the race
The Stein Dash is a running event on 10/11/2026 in Puyallup, Washington, at 110 9th Ave SW. The event includes an adult distance and a separate kids root beer run.

Participants receive a race shirt, a commemorative tasting stein, and a bib at packet pickup. The 5K course includes three on-course Beer Zones where runners may fill their steins and sample different beers; the race clock continues while participants stop at those zones. Finishers enter Oktoberfest NW and the event includes free entry into Oktoberfest; a post-run beer is not included but on-course samples are provided.
The kids Root Beer Run follows a similar format at a shorter distance. At a midway point children are offered a root beer to drink before finishing. Registered children receive a kids shirt, a stein, and root beer inside Oktoberfest.
To manage flow, participants are asked to select a starting corral. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $33.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the kids run.
