The Shuffler 5K : event overview
The Shuffler 5K takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Dunlap High School on Legion Hall Road in Dunlap, IL. The event is organized by ShaZam Racing and includes a finish on the football field 50 yard line. Light snacks will be available after the race, and there is an unofficial post-race gathering at Last Chance. Vintage race shirts are available for purchase during registration for $20; shirts are offered for purchase through January 29. Race format and event details
- 5K - three loops around the school campus; option to run as a relay with two teammates.
- 1 Mile - a separate 1 mile event called the 1 Mile Rush.
Packet pickup opens inside the Dunlap High School gym. The national anthem is part of the pre-race activities. The 5K and the 1 Mile start outside the football stadium. Post-race food and beverages are available, and an awards table opens for age group winners. Registration fees shown for each event are $18.04.
