The Shuffler 5K at Dunlap High School
The Shuffler 5K is a community running and walking event held at Dunlap High School in Dunlap, Illinois on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The event includes a 5K run and a 1 Mile walk around the high school campus, with the finish located on the 50 yard line.
The 5K can be run individually or as a three-person relay. Relay teams consist of three people who bring their own football; a bib is attached to the football at packet pickup, the ball must be exchanged three times, and the team finishes together. Packet pickup takes place inside the Dunlap High School gym.
Light snacks and beverages are available after the event, and there is an unofficial post-race gathering at Last Chance. Vintage race shirts are offered for purchase during registration for $22; shirt sales are available until 1/27. Registration listings show an entry fee of $18.04 for both the 5K and the 1 Mile.
