The Wildwood Trail Marathon event is scheduled for December 6, 2025 at LaSalle Springs Middle School, 3300 Highway 109, Wildwood, MO. It is organized by Terrain Trail Runners. The event offers these distances:
- Marathon - ~26.2 miles
- 1/2 Marathon - ~13.1 miles
Online registration closes November 30, 2025. The deadline to guarantee ordered swag with registration is November 9, 2025. Race day/onsite registration will be available; race day registration fees listed are $160 for the Marathon and $140 for the 1/2 Marathon. Included with registration are a custom short-sleeve lifestyle t-shirt (unisex sizes), a custom finisher medal, free digital race photo downloads, and a catered post-race lunch. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each distance.
Course and logistics
Both courses start and finish at LaSalle Springs Middle School and use local trails including the Hamilton-Carr Trail, Al Foster Memorial Trail, Rock Hollow Trail, Bluff View, Sherman Beach and connector trails. Surfaces include about 2 miles of paved greenway, gravel, dirt and roughly 90% single-track with rocks and roots. Approximate elevation gain is about 1700 ft for the Marathon and 750 ft for the 1/2 Marathon. Aid stations are manned - Marathon: three stations; 1/2 Marathon: two stations - stocked with water, an electrolyte drink, Hammer gels and fruit at Sherman Beach.
