The MTC Severn Path Ultra

The MTC Severn Path Ultra is a roughly 60-mile point-to-point ultramarathon from The Premier Inn, Shrewsbury, to Travelodge Worcester. Day 3 of the Severn Challenge follows the River Severn, largely flat and river‑hugging, with crossings at Atcham, Cressage and Buildwas, passing landmarks such as Ironbridge, Jackfield and Coalport. The route continues through Apley Forge, Bridgnorth, Hampton, Upper Arley, Bewdley, Stourport and Holt Heath to Worcester.

Four checkpoints offer vegan and gluten‑free options; the event is cup‑free. Finisher medals come with a head visor, and the top male and female win the Severn Path Ultra Trophy. A minimum 4 mph pace applies; transport home is the participant’s responsibility.
