The MTC Severn Path Ultra 2026

The MTC Severn Path Ultra is a long-distance running event held on Friday, July 10, 2026. This race represents the third day of the larger Severn Challenge and follows a route that closely tracks the path of the River Severn. The event is conducted under UKA regulations and is located at the Premier Inn in Shrewsbury.

The course meanders through Shrewsbury and is characterized by flat terrain. It remains close to the river until reaching a bridge at Atcham. From this point, the path stays away from the river for a period, making brief contact at Cressage and Buildwas. The route passes through several landmarks and areas of scenery including Ironbridge, Jackfield, and Coalport.

As the path continues, it stays near the Severn through various locations including Apley Forge, Bridgnorth, Hampton, Upper Arley, Bewdley, Stourport, and Holt Heath. The event concludes in Worcester City. Registration is open to solo participants until the day before the event begins. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
