The Sedalia Beer Mile
The Sedalia Beer Mile is a timed one mile race held on October 17, 2026 in Sedalia, Missouri, at 700 S Ohio Ave. The course consists of four quarter mile laps. Before each lap participants consume one 12 ounce serving of beer for a total of four beers over the mile.
Awards are given for overall male and female finishers through third place. The event offers alternatives to alcoholic beer, including a root beer mile, a non-alcoholic beer mile, and a gluten free cider mile. There is also an option to form a relay team so a group can share the four servings.
The event takes place at the start of The Local Tap's Oktoberfest in downtown Sedalia and is organized to raise money for The Boys and Girls Club.
