The ROC Triathlon presented by TruePath Racing
The ROC Triathlon is scheduled for August 21 and 22, 2026 at Durand Eastman Beach in Irondequoit, New York. The event is organized by the Rochester Area Triathletes and includes triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, running, and youth swim run events.
Course features include a shallow open water swim, a closed to traffic bike course described as fast, and a run route along Lake Ontario and Seabreeze shorelines that passes spectator lined pathways.
Event distances include:
- Intermediate Triathlon: 1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run
- High School Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run, ages 17 and under
- Athena Clydesdale Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run
- Intermediate AquaBike: 1.5k swim, 40k bike
- Sprint Duathlon: 2k run, 20k bike, 5k run
- 5K Run: 5k run
- Kids Splash n Dash: 6-9 100yd swim and 0.5mi run; 10-13 400yd swim and 2mi run
The event is USAT sanctioned and offers qualifying slots for the National Championships for Sprint and Intermediate distances. Divisions include High School, five year Age Groups for Sprint and Intermediate, Athena and Clydesdale classifications for Sprint, and top overall awards or top three overall for specified non age group events.
