Distances

- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Kids 1 mile
Timing uses gun time with chips on race bibs and final results are posted by the event timing provider. Awards are given by age division for both male and female categories, with custom pint glasses for overall winners and awards for the top three in each age group. A free t shirt is included with pre registration for the 5K and 10K, and the kids race includes a bib, T shirt, medal, and certificate. The kids race is for children up to 12 years old and parents may participate; parents must register and sign a waiver for their child.
The event is organized by the Simsbury Granby Rotary Club as a fundraiser, and proceeds are returned to the local community. On site amenities include a food truck and music, and a post race party with age restricted beer service for those 21 and older with ID.
