Brighton Santa Dash 2026
The Brighton Santa Dash takes place on 5 December 2026 along the Brighton seafront, with the event base at Hove Lawns opposite Adelaide Crescent near the Peace Statue. Entry includes a Santa suit and a bespoke finishers medal.
The main course is a flat out-and-back route that heads west on the Seafront Esplanade for 2.5 km before turning at Hove Lagoon and returning to the start for a 5 km total distance. Portable toilets are positioned near the start, and there are additional toilet stops on the course at 200 m, 1.5 km, 3.5 km and 4.5 km.
A free kids 400 m race takes place before the main event; children receive a medal and no advance entry is required. There are no changing facilities at the venue, so participants are advised to arrive in their sports kit and collect their Santa suit at the start.
The published entry fee is £25; this includes an optional £5 charity donation which can be declined at entry, plus a £1.60 handling fee. The event lists Rockinghorse Children’s Charity as its charity partner; fundraising supports children and families at local children’s hospital services in Sussex.
