Seniors First Turkey Trot 5K - Orlando
The Seniors First Turkey Trot 5K takes place on Thanksgiving Day at Lake Eola Park in Orlando, FL. The event is an annual community race and a tradition now in its 37th year. Distances offered include:

Proceeds benefit Seniors First, Inc., a nonprofit that provides nutrition and support services for older adults in Central Florida, including Meals on Wheels, Neighborhood Lunch, a community food pantry, Garden Patch Delivery, in-home care, guardianship services, and a medical equipment bank.
Event features include a T shirt and finisher medal for participants, a Best Costume contest, Best Turkey Call competition, an Oldest Participant award, and a FREE Tot Trot for children. The 5K is described as a non-competitive, non-scored community event; the top five male and top five female finishers receive awards. Wheelchair athletes and handcycle participants are permitted with specific rules; push-rim wheelchair athletes are eligible for awards and all wheelchair athletes must wear a helmet. A pace cutoff requires participants to maintain roughly a 15 minute per mile pace to remain on course.
Entry is available in person or virtually, with tiered fees and age discounts; group discounts apply for multi-person registrations. Bib pickup is available at the Track Shack store.
