The Richmond Spring Riverside 10K and Half Marathon Run
The event offers two race distances along the Thames riverside near Richmond, starting and finishing at the Riverside carpark off Ham Street by Ham House. Runners follow an out and back course towards Kingston and return along the towpath, with riverside views for much of the route.
Distances
- 10 km
- Half marathon
The course is described as flat and is a mix of trail and paved paths; trail shoes are recommended. The route is chip timed with chip on bib numbers and is marked and marshalled. Water stations are located at approximately 4 km and 7 km. Medical cover is provided and results are available via the event timing system after crossing the finish.
Facilities and logistics include on the day registration and race pack collection, limited bag storage, finish line water and sweets, medals for finishers and trophies for winners, and partner benefits including voucher points for bookings through the organiser. Off road buggies are permitted but the course is not wheelchair friendly. The organiser may alter the course if required.
Parking at the Ham Street carpark is limited and parking at Ham House is reserved for their visitors. Richmond railway station is a walk down the riverside to the event location. The event supports the Brain Tumour Charity; fundraising is optional and carries no minimum target. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
