Queen's Race for Love & Life
This event at North Park centers on two organized courses that start and finish near the North Park Boathouse, located at 10301 Pearce Mill Road, Allison Park, PA 15101. Distances offered:
- 3.1 Miles (5k Run)
- 1 Mile (1 Mile Walk)
The 5k is an out and back course that runs largely along Lake Shore Drive and is mostly flat with some rolling and gradual hills. The 1 Mile Walk follows the same out and back route and uses the same start and finish area. All walkers must be registered for the walk.
Registration opens on March 10. Early pricing applies through May 16 and higher pricing applies from May 17 through race day. Families of three or more living at the same address receive a five dollar discount per registrant. Registration and packet pick-up are located upstairs inside the Boathouse.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and up.
Post-event provisions include oatmeal raisin cookies, additional post-race fuel, and a gift basket raffle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
