The Railway Ultra
The Railway Ultra is a multi-distance running event held along the disused railway line between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth on the River Severn. Participants can choose from 9 miles, half marathon, 19 miles, 28 miles, or 37 miles. The route offers scenic views of the river and industrial heritage, with out-and-back laps and aid stations every 4.7 miles.
The event is organized by How Hard Can It Be Events and takes place twice a year, in February and July. It features a 7-hour cut-off time, with start locations and parking nearby, and options for post-race accommodations in the area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
