The Race HOME: Benefiting Project HOME
The Race HOME takes place on November 7, 2026 at Lloyd Hall, 1 Boathouse Row, along Kelly Drive in Philadelphia, PA. The event supports Project HOME and its work to prevent and end chronic street homelessness and to connect people with permanent and supportive housing.
Participants may choose among multiple participation options:
- 5K race at Lloyd Hall along Kelly Drive
- 1 mile family walk at Lloyd Hall
- virtual participation through any outdoor wellness activity
Registration opens on November 6, 2026 and closes on November 7, 2026. Posted entry fees are $45.00 for the 5K and $40.00 for the family walk. Participants can create teams or set fundraising goals once registered. Remote participants may submit results using the Racejoy App or by self timing; event organizers will provide submission instructions by email or text.
On-site amenities include participant t-shirts and race timing provided by Bryn Mawr Running Company. The event emphasizes the role of physical and mental wellness in pathways to housing; Project HOME's Hub of Hope offers services such as warm beverages, showers, laundry, medical care, and case management to support individuals moving toward stable housing.
