Run For The Stripes
Run For The Stripes is the 15th annual event held November 7, 2026 with both an in person event at the Philadelphia Zoo and a virtual option. The event offers running and walking choices for participants of different ages.
Available distances and options:
- 5k Run (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Walk - Adult (1 mile)
- 1 Mile Walk - 12 and Under (1 mile)
- Virtual Event where participants choose distance and location
Registration opens January 30, 2026. Posted entry fees include $32 for the 5k, $32 for the adult 1 mile walk, $25 for the 1 mile for ages 12 and under, and $25 for the virtual event. Registration closes on November 7, 2026.
Merchandise will be available for purchase during registration and on the day of the event. Youth hoodies and long sleeve t-shirts are available online only and organizers will purchase quantities based on orders. Merchandise ordered by October 1 is guaranteed to be received before November 8.
Virtual participants may run or walk where they feel safe and comfortable. Registrants for the virtual event who register by October 1 will be mailed a race t-shirt about one week before November 7, 2026; registrations after that date may receive shirts after the event.
