Run For The Stripes : 11 November 2026, Philadelphia Zoo
Run For The Stripes is the 15th annual event held on November 7, 2026 at the Philadelphia Zoo in Philadelphia, PA. The event is offered both in person and as a virtual option. In person participants can choose between a run and family walks. The virtual option allows participants to pick the distance, day, and place for their activity; virtual registrants receive an event t-shirt mailed about one week before November 7, 2026.
Distances offered include:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile family walk for adults
- 1 mile walk for participants 12 and under
- Virtual event where the participant chooses distance
Registration opens on January 30, 2026 and closes on November 7, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $32.00 for the 5k and the adult 1 mile walk, $25.00 for the 1 mile for 12 and under, and $25.00 for the virtual event. Merchandise will be available for purchase during registration and on event day. Youth sized hoodies and long sleeve t shirts are offered online only; orders must be placed by October 1 to be guaranteed to arrive before the event.
