Veterans Haven 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk
Veterans Haven 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk is an annual event in Haddonfield, New Jersey, sponsored by Haddonfield American Legion Post 38. The program includes a chip-timed 5K and a separate 1 Mile walk.
The course begins at Christ the King Church and proceeds through the Camden County park system adjacent to the Cooper River. Packet pickup and on-site registration are available at Haddonfield Running Co the day before and at the race site on race day.
Registration opens on 2025-12-29 and closes on 2026-10-30. The registration fee for each event is $40.00.

Medals are awarded to the overall male and female winners. Additional awards are given to the top three finishers in each age division: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Short sleeve shirts are provided to all participants.
Proceeds provide financial support to Veterans Haven South in Winslow, New Jersey, a transitional facility for homeless and unemployed veterans. Veterans Haven South reports an 87% success rate in providing transitional shelter and assisting veterans in gaining employment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
