The Race before The Game - Sandusky, OH
The Race before The Game is the 10th annual event held in downtown Sandusky. It is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2026, with the gathering point at Monroe Street by Cameo Pizza and Central Park. The event uses the sidewalks and street grid of Sandusky for its courses.
Courses and distances include:
- Dot the i - approximately 5 miles
- Block the M - approximately 4 miles
- OH-IO Two-person relay - each person completes about 2.5 miles
- The Big O - one mile walk option
The Dot the i and Block the M courses follow a Script Ohio type route along Sandusky sidewalks. The OH-IO relay divides the Script Ohio course between two people. Registered participants by November 12, 2026 receive long sleeved shirts. Participants are asked to use sidewalks and obey all traffic laws during the event.
