Coast to Coaster Road Race (about 232 miles)
Coast to Coaster is a point-to-point road journey scheduled for April 22, 2027. The course covers roughly 232 miles on public roads in Ohio. The event is organized as a self-managed journey; runners should not expect assistance from race staff. All participants receive trackers and a shareable link to allow others to follow their location.
Crews are allowed and may carry supplies for participants. Crewed runners may shelter in their crew vehicle, but runners may not be transported by any vehicle. Participants must plan for food, rest, and sleep on their own; there are stores, restaurants, and hotels along the route, and runners should decide when to resupply or rest. Safety is enforced by the organizers, and anyone whose behavior endangers themselves or others may be removed from the course. The event asks that participants treat other runners and local residents with respect.
The race is described as a journey run in the spirit of HOTS or LAVS. Registration for the event opens May 15, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET. Further logistical details and rules are provided by the organizer; participants are expected to stay on the course and to use common sense if they make an error.
