Coast to Coaster Road Race

Coast to Coaster is presented as a long distance journey run in and around Sandusky, Ohio, across the dates April 22 to April 24, 2027. The main event is a road race covering roughly 232 miles run on public roads. Runners are responsible for their own well being and supplies; the route passes through towns with stores, restaurants, and hotels that can be used for resupply and rest.

All participants receive trackers and a shareable tracking link to show their location. Crews are allowed to support runners, carry supplies, and provide shelter in a crew vehicle, but runners may not be transported by vehicle. The event emphasizes safety and respectful behavior; participants who endanger themselves or others may be removed from the course. Organizers state that common sense should guide conduct on the route and that runners should stay on the course or return to it if they make an error.

A 100 mile option is offered as an out and back on the same course; this option begins at King's Island and is described as being run almost entirely on multi use trail. Those who sign up requesting a ride and hotel may leave a vehicle at King's Island the day before and be transported, with hotel accommodation near the Sandusky start.
