Humane Society of Erie County 5K Run/Walk: Run, Walk, Brew, Rescue
This event takes place on April 4, 2026 in Sandusky, Ohio, with activities centered at Baithouse Brewery, 223 Meigs Street, and the nearby Battery Park parking lot. It is a chip timed 5K run and walk held as the first race of the RUNDUSKY Race Series 2026. The course is a road route through downtown Sandusky.
Entry fees support the Humane Society of Erie County. The standard fee is $30 and includes a t shirt for registrations completed before noon on March 24, 2026. After the t shirt deadline the fee increases to $35 and a shirt is not guaranteed. Well behaved dogs on a short leash are welcome at the event. Raffles, a 50 50 drawing and other activities will take place at Baithouse Brewery, which will also offer a limited breakfast menu and a beer release. Each participant receives a fountain beverage or draft beer from the brewery. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine and refunds are not offered.
