Humane Society of Erie County 5K Run/Walk
This is a chip timed 5K run/walk held in downtown Sandusky, Ohio, originating at Bait House Brewery and the Battery Park parking lot just north of the city building. The course is a road route through the downtown area and is the first race in the RUNDUSKY Race Series 2027.
Event registration carries a base fee of $30 that supports the Humane Society of Erie County and includes a t-shirt for registrations made before the event organizer's T-shirt deadline. After that deadline the fee is $35 and a shirt is not guaranteed. Registration opens in April 2026 and closes before the event in March 2027. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Bait House Brewery, and day of registration is available.
Well behaved dogs on a short leash are welcome; registrants can add an event logo bandana for their dog during registration. Raffles, a 50/50 draw and other activities will take place at Bait House Brewery throughout the event. The organizer states the race will proceed in rain or shine and that there are no refunds.
