The Powburn Show Hill Race

The Powburn Show Hill Race is a classic 6-mile country hill race held in Powburn, Northumberland. The course starts at the show field and initially traverses flat farm fields before a sharp climb up East Hill. Runners then follow the ridge along the hill’s spine, descend to Ingram, and return to the show field to finish.

The route is fully marked, offering a scenic and challenging experience. There is also a shorter 2-mile junior race for under-14s.
