The Powburn Show Hill Race
The Powburn Show Hill Race takes place in Powburn on Saturday 1 August 2026. The main event is a six mile hill race run on country and farm ground around East Hill and the village of Ingram. A junior race of about two miles is held for under 14s.
The route starts at the show field and follows flat farm fields before reaching East Hill. Runners climb sharply to the summit of East Hill, continue along the spine of the hill following waymarker posts, then drop off the hill toward Ingram and return to the show field. The course is fully marked.
