Event overview

The Enchanted Ultra 50K is a trail ultramarathon held on 19 September 2026 in Wooler, United Kingdom. The race distance is 50 km and takes place in the Cheviot Hills. Organisers listed include Northern Fell Running and Cheviot TRAIL Events. Entries open on 17 October 2025 and close on 31 August 2026. The minimum age is 18 or older. Course and logistics

The route starts at The Mart in Wooler and follows paths that include Humbleton Hill, St Cuthberts Way and the ancient hillfort of Yeavering Bell. Checkpoint 1 is at Hethpool (about 10 miles). The course continues through College Valley to Mounthooley, passes close to Hen Hole, ascends Cheviot and descends via the Harthope Burn to checkpoint 2 at Langleeford (about 22 miles). The return route goes back toward Wooler via Coldlaw and Snear Hill.

Navigation uses a digital route and a GPS device is required. The event provides a digital route map, a waterproof map and a GPS tracker. There will be marshals, medical cover and two stocked aid stations. Finishers receive a medal and a certificate; soup and sandwiches are provided at the finish.
