Event overview
The Peoples Bank Midnight Flight takes place on August 14, 2026 in Anderson, SC (201 East Reed Road, 29621). The event program includes two distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
Entry fees listed are $30 for the 1 Mile and $35 for the 5K, with prices increasing after August 9, 2026. Multi-event discounts are applied at the end of registration for participants who enter more than one race.
Logistics, course and awards
Packet pick-up is held on race day at the Anderson Area YMCA at the front of the building under the awning. Packet pick-up operates in a drive-thru format until 5:00 pm; after 5:00 pm it switches to walk-up pickup. All registration, including race day registration, is conducted through RunSignUp; there is no in-person, face-to-face registration on site.
Course maps are provided for both the 5K and the 1 Mile. Awards for the 1 Mile include cash prizes for the top three male and female runners in these age divisions: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-21 (1st $50, 2nd $25, 3rd $10). All 1 Mile awards are based on chip time. The 5K awards include cash prizes for the top three male and female in Open, Masters (40 and above) and Grandmasters (50 and above) categories; non-cash age-division prizes are also awarded.
