Event overview
The Peddars Way Ultra is a 48 mile point-to-point race from Knettishall Heath Nature Reserve to Holme-next-the-Sea on the Norfolk coast. The route follows the historic Peddars Way, a mix of straight tracks, bridleways, footpaths and quiet country lanes. The course is mostly flat, waymarked with local finger posts and National Trail acorn markings, and detailed GPS files are provided. The event includes first aid cover and GPS tracking so friends and family can follow runners. A shuttle bus option is available to transfer people from the finish area to the start for those who wish to leave a car at the finish.

Entry, kit and logistics
Entrants must be 18 or older. Standard entry is £60 (an early-price for the first 30 places was £50); a bus ticket is charged separately. Entries close two weeks before the race. Transfers are allowed up to six weeks before the event with a £10 administration fee. Insurance to cover entry costs is offered for an extra charge.
A mandatory kit list is enforced and may be checked at registration. Required items include a waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams, a spare warm layer, a headtorch (minimum 100 lumens), hat or buff, gloves, a map or route saved on a device, at least 1 litre water carrying capacity, and suitable shoes. The event is cupless so runners must carry a reusable cup or use their own bottles. Finish bags are transported from the start to the finish only.
