The Peanut Run : Amelia Island, FL
The Peanut Run is a community road event held during the 2026 USA Peanut Congress at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Florida. The event offers a chip-timed, legitimate 5K race and a 1-mile fun run/walk. It is presented by Women in Peanut Leadership (WIPL) and sponsored by The Peanut Institute and the National Peanut Board; the event is open to all genders and ages.
Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2026, during conference registration and hospitality at the Texas Peanut Producers booth in the exhibit area. In-person registration includes breakfast and a choice of shirt style (women's tank or men's crewneck); shipping for virtual runners and late registrants is available for an additional fee. To have a shirt ready for race day, registration should be completed by May 30, 2026; later registrations may receive shirts after the event.
Awards will be given for first, second, and third places for both male and female finishers in the 5K only. Virtual participation options are available for both the 5K and the mile, with the ability to submit verified times using a mobile app and to request shirt shipping for virtual entries.
