The Peanut Run

The Peanut Run takes place during the 2026 USA Peanut Congress at The Ritz-Carlton on Amelia Island, FL. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a one mile fun run/walk. It is presented by Women in Peanut Leadership and sponsored by The Peanut Insitute and The National Peanut Board; it is open to all genders and ages.

Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled with conference registration and hospitality on Monday, June 8 at The Texas Peanut Producers booth in the exhibit area of the conference center. In-person registration for the 5K and the mile is listed at $40 and includes breakfast and a shirt (choice of unisex tank or crewneck). To have a shirt available on race day, the registration cut-off is May 30, 2026. Shipping of shirts for virtual runners and late registrants is available for an additional $10.

Medals will be awarded for first, second and third place in each male and female division for the 5K only. A virtual option is offered for both distances; virtual participants can use a mobile app to track and upload verified times and may select shipping for their shirt.
