Course Details

Participation and Registration
Participants can choose from several registration types, including an in-person 5k, a virtual 5k, and a discounted Family of Four registration. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series, where completing six races in the series earns a special finisher medal.
Beneficiary
The event supports The Parklands of Floyds Fork, a public park system that receives no tax dollars for its annual maintenance and operations. Registration fees help fund park upkeep.
Participant Perks
All registered participants receive a short-sleeve tech race shirt and a finisher medal. Post-race refreshments and free race photography are also included. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age groups.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Pavilion in Beckley Creek Park, and also on race morning starting at 7:30 a.m. at the same location. Parking is available in lots around the Creekside Center, with an overflow lot available north of Interstate 64. The event is chip-timed using disposable timing chips on race bibs.
