The Parklands & WLKY 5K Run/Walk 2026
The Parklands & WLKY 5K Run/Walk 2026 takes place on June 6, 2026 at Beckley Creek Park in Louisville, Kentucky. The course covers 3.1 miles and combines road sections with portions of the Louisville Loop multi-use trail. The start and finish are located at the Egg Lawn in Beckley Creek Park.
Both in-person and virtual options are available. In-person participants will receive a short sleeve technical race shirt, a 2026 finisher medal, free race photography, and post race refreshments. The event will use chip timing with a disposable timing chip attached to the back of the race bib; runners and walkers are asked to wear their bib on the chest for accurate timing and photography.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Pavilion, 1401 Beckley Creek Parkway, with additional pickup the morning of the race beginning at 7:30 am at the same location. A Family of Four registration option provides a $10 saving compared with separate entries. The race is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups ranging from 9 and under through 80 and over.
