The Parklands & WLKY 5K Run/Walk : June 6, 2026, Beckley Creek Park, Louisville, KY
The Parklands & WLKY 5K is a 3.1-mile run/walk event held at Beckley Creek Park in Louisville. The course begins and finishes at the Egg Lawn and combines short road sections with the scenic Louisville Loop multi-use trail. Both in-person and virtual options are offered; virtual participants may submit results within the specified online window.

Race services and included items for entrants comprise a short-sleeve technical race shirt, a 2026 finisher medal, free race photography, post-race refreshments, and a one-year membership to The Parklands. Timing uses a disposable chip attached to the race bib; participants are asked to wear the bib visibly. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the PricewaterhouseCoopers Pavilion in Beckley Creek Park, with additional morning pickup available at the same location. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series and supports the annual maintenance and operations of The Parklands of Floyds Fork, a visitor-and-donor supported public park system that receives no tax dollars for ongoing operations.
