The Paideia Slither 5K
The Paideia Slither 5K takes place on November 14, 2026, at Paideia School, 1509 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307. The annual course runs through the Candler Park neighborhood and both begins and ends on the Paideia campus.
The event welcomes community members, family, friends, neighbors, walkers, first-time racers, and participants with strollers; dogs are not permitted. A short Tot Trot on South Ponce is offered for children aged 7 and under after the 5K finishes.

Packet pick up is available Friday, November 13, 2026, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Paideia School High School Commons (1509 Ponce De Leon Ave) or on race morning beginning at 7:00 am. Organizers note that picking up a packet on Friday may reduce wait lines on race morning.
Official CHIP timing is provided by Start2Finish Atlanta. Awards are given to Overall Male and Overall Female and to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 9-13; 14-17; 18-27; 28-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+. Awards are based on gun time. Proceeds from the race benefit the Paideia financial aid fund. Runners registered by October 31, 2026, are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
