The Paideia Slither 5K
The Paideia Slither 5K is an annual community road race that runs through the Candler Park neighborhood in Atlanta. The course begins and ends on the Paideia School campus at 1509 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA.

- Tot Trot (7 and under)
A short Tot Trot on South Ponce is held for children age 7 and under after the 5K. The event welcomes the Paideia community, family, friends, neighbors, walkers, first time racers, and strollers. Dogs are not permitted.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Paideia financial aid fund. Runners who register by October 31, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Packet pick up is available Friday, November 13, 2026 from 11:30 to 1:00 PM at the Paideia School High School Commons, 1509 Ponce De Leon Ave, Atlanta, GA 30307, or on race morning beginning at 7:00 AM.
Official chip timing is provided by Start2Finish Atlanta. Awards include Overall Male and Overall Female, plus top three in each age group: 9-13; 14-17; 18-27; 28-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+. Awards are based on gun time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
