Veterans Day 5K Walk/Run - Tucker
American Legion Post 207 presents a Veterans Day 5K walk/run in Tucker, Georgia on November 7, 2026. The event uses a certified 5K course and is chip-timed. Proceeds will support the Post’s missions of "Rescue-Restore-Repay" and contribute to rebuilding the American Legion hall for local veterans and their families.
Registration fees are listed as $40 through October 31 and $55 from November 1 through race day. Packet pick-up and race day registration take place at Tucker High School. Participants who register by October 30 are guaranteed a race t-shirt; registrations on October 31 or later are not guaranteed a shirt.
Awards are planned for overall male and female, masters male and female, and age-group awards paid three deep for the following ranges: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up. Parking will be available on First Avenue in marked lots and at Bakers Paint.
The event is presented by Joe Pritchett American Legion Post 207 and aims to engage the local Tucker community, both veterans and non-veterans, while raising funds for veteran support and the post rebuilding project. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
