Veterans Day 5K Walk/Run - Tucker
The Veterans Day 5K Walk/Run is organized by American Legion Post 207 in Tucker, Georgia, and is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026. Race activities are centered around Tucker High School and the area near 5058 Chamblee Tucker Road. The event serves as a fundraiser to support the Post and its mission of Rescue, Restore, Repay, and to assist ongoing rebuilding efforts for the American Legion hall.
The event features a certified, chip timed 5K course that has been used in past years. Registration pricing is listed as $40 through October 31 and $55 from November 1 through race day. Race day registration will be available at Tucker High School. Participants registered by October 30 are guaranteed a race t shirt; those who register on October 31 or later are not guaranteed a shirt.
Awards are given for overall male and female, masters male and female, and age group awards that go three deep for categories including 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up. Parking is noted as available on First Avenue in marked lots and at Bakers Paint. Proceeds from the event will further the Post’s veteran support programs and reconstruction efforts.
