Dental Dash at Dawn is a charity 5K held in Atlanta at 3105 Clairmont Rd. The event raises funds for the DDD Foundation, a nonprofit dental clinic that provides specialized dental care to more than 5,000 patients with developmental disabilities and serves people from 99 Georgia counties.
The event includes an in-person 5K with a wheelchair division. Cash prizes and trophies are awarded: $200 cash prizes for top male, top female, and top wheelchair; a $500 cash prize for the largest team; and gold tooth trophies for first through third in age categories and for wheelchair placings. A virtual race option is offered with either local gear pickup or shipping.
Packet pick-up is available before race day at the DDD Foundation’s dental clinic at 3103 Clairmont Rd, Suite C, Atlanta, GA. Free snacks and water are provided at the event, with water available on the course at the halfway point. Restrooms and handwashing stations are located near the start and finish area. Ample free parking is provided on site and the event uses chip timing provided by Start2Finish. Race photos will be available to download at no cost.
