Dental Dash at Dawn 5K
Dental Dash at Dawn is a community 5K held on November 7, 2026 in Atlanta at 3105 Clairmont Rd, GA 30329. The event raises funds for the DDD Foundation, a nonprofit dental clinic that provides specialized dental care to more than 5,000 people with developmental disabilities from many Georgia counties.
The event includes an in person 5K, a wheelchair division that allows self push or pushed chairs, and virtual race options with gear pick up or shipping. Wheelchair riders must register and sign the event waiver. Prizes include cash awards of $200 for top male, top female, and top wheelchair, and a $500 cash prize for the largest team. Gold tooth trophies are awarded to first through third place in age categories and for wheelchair placements. Chip and gun timing is provided by Start2Finish. The race is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Logistics noted by the organizer include early packet pick up at the DDD Foundation dental clinic, race day packet pick up, ample free parking on a nearby parking deck, restrooms and handwashing stations at the start and finish, water at the halfway point, and complimentary snacks and water for participants. The event takes place rain or shine and registration for fundraising events is non refundable.
