About the race
The Other Run, organized by Zig Zag Running, takes place at the Suffolk Running Centre in Bury St Edmunds, coinciding with the London Marathon day. It offers multiple distance options: 5k, 10k, half marathon, and full marathon. The marathon follows the officially measured, scenic, and mildly undulating Kirtling Route, while the half marathon uses the Windmill Route.
Shorter distances have designated turnaround points. The course is fully on quiet roads, with aid stations every 10k providing drinks and snacks. Parking is included, and participants receive a bespoke finisher medal.
