The Other Run
The Other Run is organised by Zig Zag Running and takes place on 26 April 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event is held on the same day as the London Marathon and offers multiple distance choices for participants.

The full marathon uses the Kirtling Route, which is officially measured, fully on road, mildly undulating and described as scenic. The half marathon is a single loop using the Windmill Route. The 5k and 10k options use a turnaround point for shorter distances. There are aid stations providing drinks and nibbles approximately every 10k. Parking is included in the entry price. A bespoke event medal is presented at the finish; a lucky dip finisher option is also offered for those who prefer an alternative medal. All routes are on quiet public roads, so participants are advised to be aware of traffic and to wear bright clothing for visibility.
