2026 Columbus Turkey Trot
The Columbus Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day running and walking event held in Columbus, Ohio on 11/26/2026. The 2026 edition marks the event's 40th anniversary and uses Shops on Lane Avenue as the event location at 1675 W Lane Ave.
The event offers multiple participation options and a revised course layout. The main course is a new 4 mile out and back route that turns around in front of the Ohio State University Horseshoe. The Walk N' Talk is about 2.4 miles and includes the Ohio State Waterman Agriculture and Natural Resources Complex. A Tot Trot for children and a virtual participation option are also part of the program. As a courtesy to other participants, dogs are not allowed on the Walk N' Talk route.
Participants receive race day items such as a commemorative event shirt and a custom finisher medal. The finish area includes a food celebration with sponsor-provided items, including a 12 inch pizza redemption certificate for every finisher and Skyline Chili dogs served at the finish.
