Course, facilities and policies
The route uses park pathways and passes monuments, statues, memorials and the Serpentine Lake, plus rose gardens, meadows and areas frequented by wildfowl. Water is provided on the route at the lap point. Entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. Medical cover and a bag drop are provided; the race number tear-off should be attached to items left at bag drop. Toilets are available near the start/finish area; Royal Parks charge 20p per use. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Event images are usually available within 24 hours.
Spectators are permitted around the route. Privately owned dogs are not allowed, except registered medical assistance dogs with prior approval. Buggies and wheelchairs are accommodated; organisers request contact beforehand for specialised equipment. Noise-cancelling earphones are prohibited. Race deferrals are allowed until registration closes, subject to an admin fee. Pre-race information is emailed to registered participants one week before the event.
