Kew Gardens 10K - Overview
The event is a 10K road race held inside the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, on 28 March 2026. The race uses fully closed roads within the gardens and holds a Run England race licence (29894). The organisers state the course is professionally measured and certified, flat and tarmac, with a net drop of 5 ft and a total ascent of 63 ft. The route includes key Kew attractions such as the Palm House, Temperate House and The Hive. Minimum age is 15 years on race day.
Course and logistics
The course starts outside the Hive on the Broadwalk and finishes outside the Palm House. Official chip timing is used. There is a water station at 5.7 km. Xempo pacemakers, marshals, sweep marshals and full first aid cover will be in place. Top three finishers win a trophy and an entry into any RUN-FEST event. Race numbers can be collected on race morning or from a local sports shop two weeks before the event; further information is emailed to entrants before the race.
Spectator admission: each race place allows entry for up to two adults and two children (under 16) into Kew Gardens for the morning, provided they enter before the gardens close the gates for the private run. Race entries are non-transferable and non-deferable; a full refund is offered only within 14 days of payment. Standard and late entry prices are published with a transaction fee.
