Event overview
The Kew Gardens 10K is a 10-kilometre road race held on 28 March 2026 inside the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, SW London (Elizabeth Gate, TW9 3AA). The course is on closed, tarmac roads and is professionally measured and England Athletics licensed (29894). The route passes Kew landmarks including the Palm House, Temperate House, Great Pagoda, Broad Walk, Queen Charlotte's Cottage, the Kitchen Garden, The Hive, and the Giant Redwoods. Organisers state the new course has a net drop of 5 ft and a total ascent of 63 ft. The minimum age on race day is 15 years.
Practical information
Official chip timing will be used and there will be Xempo pacers, a water station at 5.7 km, full first aid cover, course marshals and sweep marshals. Race numbers can be collected on race morning or two weeks beforehand from a local sports shop. The entry structure includes club and non-club fares with a non-refundable transaction fee; a full refund is offered only within 14 days of payment. After that there are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers. The event notes that each race entry permits free morning admission for up to two adults and two children (under 16) to enter Kew Gardens to spectate, subject to the venue access conditions.
