Kew Gardens 10K : event overview
The Kew Gardens 10K is scheduled for 3 April 2027 and takes place entirely on closed, tarmac routes inside the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Elizabeth Gate, SW London TW9 3AA). The course is professionally measured and England Athletics licensed (RUN ENGLAND licence 29894). The route passes key Kew attractions including Palm House, Temperate House and The Hive and is described as having a low overall elevation change with a net drop of 5 ft and a total climb of 63 ft.
Race services include official chip timing, Xempo pacers, a water station at 4.7 km and course toilets at 1.5 km, 3 km and 7.5 km. First aid cover, volunteer marshals and sweep marshals are in place along the course. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers as a trophy and an entry into any RUN-FEST event. Minimum age on race day is 15 years.
Entries are non-transferable and non-deferrable. A full refund is available only within 14 days of payment; after that there are no refunds, deferrals or transfers. Each race place includes free entry for up to two adults and two children under 16 to enter Kew Gardens via Elizabeth Gate to watch the race, provided spectators enter before the gates close for the race start.
