About the race
The Next Loop Endurance Series takes place November 14, 2026 at Tyler State Park with race headquarters at the Blackjack Savannah Pavilion. The event is built around a clearly marked loop trail through the park's pine forest with aid available on every lap and personal gear access each loop. Multiple challenge formats run on the same course and the field is limited to 75 runners. A 12-hour hard cutoff applies for continuous challenges.
Pacers are permitted after the fourth loop and must check in at the designated pacer station and wear official pacer identification. Medical and safety oversight will follow ultra-distance standards. Gear staging is available at vehicles or a designated staging area, and the event is family and crew friendly. Distances and formats include: - The Next Loop Hourly Challenge: one loop every hour, up to ten loops. - The Next 12 Hour Challenge: continuous 12 hour endurance format, mileage counts every completed loop. - The Next 40M Challenge: complete 40 miles on the loop course within the cutoff. - The Next 50M Challenge: complete 50 miles on the loop course within the cutoff. - The Next 2 Person Team Relay: two teammates alternate full loops to total 50 miles. - The Next 4 Person Team Relay: four teammates share loops to total 50 miles. Presented by EverFurther, the event emphasizes repeat laps, straightforward logistics, and on-course support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
