Event overview
The Lindale Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at E.J. Moss Intermediate School, 411 E. Eagle Spirit Drive, Lindale, TX 75771. This is the 7th annual edition. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K
- Kids Race (ages 10 and under)
The listed entry fees are $20 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids Race. The listing notes a price increase after December 13, 2025.
Race details and features
The 5K course starts and finishes on Eagle Spirit Drive. The Kids Race is held around the school parking lot. 5K participants are listed as receiving a soft blend event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and chip timing. Kids Race participants receive a kids' t-shirt and a finisher medal; children registered in the Kids Race may join the 5K without an additional entry but chip timing for the 5K requires separate registration.
Awards include gold, silver, and bronze medals for the top three finishers in each age division. Tom’s Coffee Truck will offer free coffee and hot chocolate. Strollers, wagons, and pets are allowed on the 5K course; pets must be leashed and no aggressive breeds are permitted. All registration is conducted online.
