Event overview
The Lindale Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Lindale, Texas. This is the 7th annual edition and is hosted at E.J. Moss Intermediate School, 411 E. Eagle Spirit Drive, Lindale, TX 75771. The event includes two races:
- 5K
- Kids Race
Race details and logistics
Entry fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids Race. Registration opens on set dates in 2026: the Kids Race registration opens June 30, and the 5K opens July 1. All registration is completed online; same-day online registration may be available if spots remain.
The course starts and finishes on Eagle Spirit Drive. The Kids Race is for ages 10 and under. Kids registered for the Kids Race may join the 5K without an additional fee for entry, but chip timing for the 5K requires separate registration. 5K entrants receive a soft blend event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and chip timing. Kids Race participants receive a kids' t-shirt and a finisher medal. Top three finishers in each age division receive gold, silver, and bronze medals.
On-course policies allow strollers, wagons, and leashed pets on the 5K; aggressive breeds are not allowed. Proceeds benefit the Lindale ISD Education Foundation; the foundation is not the event host. Free coffee and hot chocolate will be provided on site by a vendor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
