Event overview
The Newcastle Winter Warmer Run at Exhibition Park, The Town Moor, Newcastle (NE2 4PZ) offers three distances:
- 5k - one lap
- 10k - two laps
- Half marathon - four laps plus an additional 1.1 km section
The course is flat and mainly on paths, with one section on stone/trail. The route is wheelchair friendly but note the stone/trail section. Buggies are permitted.
Logistics and race services
Entries are priced per distance (example: half marathon listed at £30, 5k and 10k listed at £25) and online entries close on 27 January 2026; entry fees increase from 2 January 2026. Registration and race pack collection take place on event day. Race timing uses a chip on bib system and results are posted via Results Base and on the event website. All finishers receive a medal and some trophies are awarded. Bag storage is available but limited. Toilets, drinks and snacks will be available at the event hub, which is located on the grass area before entering the Town Moor.
