Blanchland Show

Blanchland Show 1/2 and 10k is a trail race held on fields by Blanchland Village Hall in the North East of England, within the North Pennines landscape. It offers two distances: 10k (about 7 miles, around 900 ft ascent) and a half marathon (about 13.5 miles, around 1,400 ft). The route begins with a steep gravel climb past Pennypie House on the Pennine Journey, traverses Slaley Forest, and then moorland before the distances merge and finish back at Blanchland via The Carriers’ Way.

The event features timing, marshals, medical cover, showground access, and an eco-friendly ethos—wildflower seeds, kit recycling, and car sharing—inside a festive atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
