The Mosby Foundation 5K Run and Dog Walk
The event is a charity 5K run and a separate 1 mile dog walk held at Gypsy Hill Park, 600 Churchville Ave, Staunton, VA on 11/07/2026. It supports the Mosby Foundation, a national nonprofit based in Staunton that helps pets remain with their families by assisting with emergent medical expenses. The foundation also operates a local food pantry and a spay and neuter program.
Registration fees are stated for each event and include a shirt. On site registration is possible but shirt supply and sizes will be limited. The organizer offers coffee and donuts, vendors, and a dog play yard during the event.
Participants may run or walk, with or without a dog. Dogs must be on a short leash of six feet or shorter and must be well behaved. Flexi leads are not permitted. The event is held in memory of a local veterinarian who served animals and the community.
