Mad Anthony Mud Run
The Mad Anthony Mud Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Waynesboro, Virginia, at 2091 Lyndhurst Rd. The event uses natural and prepared terrain around the site for its course.
The course is a 3 mile route that traverses fields and trails, passes through tunnels, and includes more than a dozen obstacles. The layout requires negotiating built features and varied footing across the route.
Participants can compete individually or as part of a team. Awards are given and results include team listings. An afterparty takes place on site with local craft brews, fire pits, a costume contest, and an awards ceremony.
This event is the first race in a four-race Run the Valley series. The series also includes Park to Park 1/2 Marathon (April), Summer Sweat 5K (July), and Fall Foliage 10K (October).
