1/2-mile Fun Run

The 5K entry fee is $35 and the Fun Run fee is $20. The 5K is open to ages 105 and under. Registration for the 5K opens October 18, 2025. Registration for the Fun Run opens December 17, 2025. At the end of the 5K there will be door prizes, trophies, and awards. Light refreshments will be available. Proceeds go to the DeHaven Fund, which awards annual scholarships to students with financial need who are pursuing college degrees.

The event is held at Gypsy Hill Park, 600 Churchville Ave, Staunton, VA 24401. The park includes features such as the Duck Pond, a miniature train, baseball fields, and playgrounds. Race packets are distributed in Gypsy Hill Park: Friday, April 10, 2026 (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM) and Saturday, April 11, 2026 (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM) at the Bandstand.
