The event is held at 501 Museum Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120, with the start and finish on Museum Drive adjacent to the Booth Museum. The planned 5K route includes an initial 1.5-mile out-and-back segment that touches Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, followed by a 1.5-mile loop returning to Museum Drive. The route uses downtown surface streets just east of the CSX rail line; the course was described as new for 2026 and remains being finalized.
Pre-race registration is priced at $30 through January 11, 2026; the race day fee is $40. Participants who register by January 11 are guaranteed a T-shirt size. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, January 16 at Big Peach Running Company, 402 E. Church St., Cartersville; T-shirts not picked up will not be mailed after the event.
Awards for the 5K include top 3 overall male and female, top masters male and female, and top 3 male and female in multiple age categories from 10-under through 70 and over. The 1K Fun Run will award the top 3 runners. The event will be professionally timed by Wire2Wire Running and is held rain or shine. Parking is available in downtown lots near the Booth Museum and Tabernacle Baptist Church; parking on Museum Drive is not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
