Event overview
The ML5K CommUnity Run is scheduled for January 17, 2026, in Cartersville, GA (4 East Church St., 30120). Logistics and race details
Pre-race registration opens at a lower fee and is guaranteed through January 11, 2026; race day registration is at a higher fee. T-shirt sizes can be guaranteed only for registrations completed by January 11, 2026. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at Big Peach Running Company of Cartersville (402 E. Church St., Cartersville, GA). Unclaimed T-shirts will not be mailed after the race.
The planned route starts and finishes on Museum Drive in downtown Cartersville adjacent to the Booth Museum. The course includes an initial 1.5 mile out-and-back that touches Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and a following 1.5 mile loop returning to Museum Drive. Downtown and adjacent lots provide race parking; parking on Museum Drive is not allowed.
Awards are planned for top overall finishers, masters, and top three in multiple age categories for both males and females; the 1K Fun Run will award the top three runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
