Paulding Young Life Jingle Jog 5K
The Paulding Young Life Jingle Jog 5K is a community running event held in Dallas, Georgia. The race starts and finishes at the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, utilizing an out-and-back route on the Silver Comet Trail. The course follows a tree-lined, flat, and fast path heading west from the Chamber Trailhead.
Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 5 km
- 1 km
The event encourages a holiday atmosphere, and participants are invited to wear festive attire such as holiday-themed hats, socks, and bells. The route is accessible for strollers and families. Awards are presented to top finishers in various age categories, ranging from 10 and under to 70 and over. A specific award is also designated for the best festive costume.
Proceeds from the event support Paulding Young Life, a local ministry that provides mentoring and community programs for high school students. The event takes place rain or shine.
