The Milton Keynes 5k, 10k and Half Marathon Winter Warmer Run
This event takes place at Campbell Park and Newlands by Willen Lake in Milton Keynes (MK15 0DL). It offers three distances and uses a marked, marshalled course on public paths and towpaths.

The course is undulating and mainly on paths with a few trail sections. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon is four laps plus an extra section. The route may be altered prior to the event. Buggies are permitted; the course is not ideal for wheelchair users but is possible.
Event services and logistics include full race chip timing with chip-on-bib numbers, trophies for winners, unique medals for finishers, water stations, finish line sweets, medical cover, partner benefits and some voucher points for bookings through the organiser. Race packs are collected at registration on the day. Bag storage is available but limited. Toilets are located within the event hub and coffee and snacks are available for sale. Starts are staggered to reduce congestion; marshals are stationed around the course and results are shown on the timing screen and published after the event.
The Winter Warmer Runs support the charity Shelter. Fundraising is optional with no minimum target. Shelter activity from April 2024 to March 2025 included helpline and hub support, millions of online visits, and thousands of positive housing outcomes for households.
