The Mighty Fitz 5K and 10K
The event on November 7, 2026 in Lewiston, New York offers both a 5K and a 10K on USATF certified courses. Both distances begin and end in front of the Brickyard Pub & Restaurant in the village of Lewiston. A notable hill remains near the finish and one water station is located at the top of Artpark Hill. Bottled water is provided to runners at the finish line.
Packet pickup is available the day of the race at the Brickyard Brewing Company before the race. Online registration remains open until race day. Participants who register by late October are guaranteed an official race shirt, with a limited supply of extra shirts for later registrants. A mail in registration option requires completing and mailing both the race waiver and the USATF liability waiver with payment.
Hand crafted trophies will be presented to the overall male and female winners in each distance. Age group gifts are awarded to the top three male and female runners in these age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and older. There is free parking near the start and finish in the village.
Timing uses Jaguar Electronic RFID technology with real time results, finish line photos, and downloadable finisher certificates. The organizers reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, or offer a virtual alternative for safety reasons and there are no refunds.
