The Midlands Adventure
The Midlands Adventure presented by Stellantis South Africa is a multi-day event from 6 to 8 November 2026 at Waterwoods Equestrian Estate, Nottingham Road, KwaZulu-Natal. The weekend combines gravel riding, mountain biking and trail running with country hospitality and an event village.
The schedule includes a Friday Welcome Braai and route presentation, racing and leisure riding or running on Saturday and Sunday, a Saturday evening potjie dinner, complimentary Saturday morning yoga and Pilates, and a guided Sunday riverside walk. The event offers professional route marking, timed results for racing categories, friendly water points and medical support. Organisers list over R30,000 in prize money and an event village showcasing local food and breweries.

- 125 km total (65 km Day 1, 45 km Day 2)
- 95 km total (50 km Day 1, 45 km Day 2)

Trail running and walking distances:
- 15 km trail run only
- 10 km trail run or walk
- 5 km trail run or walk
Every entry includes an event T-shirt, finisher's medal, fully stocked water points, route marking, medical support and weekend entertainment.
