Christmas Trail Run - Curry's Post
The Christmas Trail Run takes place on 13 December 2026 at Ground Cover Leather Co., Curry's Post. The event is a loop-format trail run set on private farmland and trail sections near Howick.
The route winds through rolling grasslands, flowing single-track, peaceful farmlands, and pockets of forest. Runners pass farm dams and open country where cattle may be visible from the trail. The courses include fast runnable sections and a few climbs that lead to sweeping views across the countryside. The setting emphasizes natural landscape and a country atmosphere.
Distances and basic course details:
- 10 km medium course, 335 m elevation, 2 aid stations
- 6 km short course, 208 m elevation, 1 aid station
- 3 km Santa Dash, 103 m elevation
There is no compulsory kit requirement for the races and courses are subject to change. The event includes a Santa Dash for kids and festive attire is encouraged. The race is presented in association with Funkypants and Groundcover Leather Co. Entrants accept the event terms, indemnity and waiver as part of participation.
